I’m playing a Fender Telecaster 64′ (American Vintage) Re-issue. During 1985, when playing live Marr would use his custom Telecaster made by Roger Giffin.

For the rest of the signal chain, I’m using the same setup as for my The Smiths – William, It Was Really Nothing (Live 1985) with the exception of the TC Flashback. For this video I’m using the 2290 setting which is based upon the TC Electronic 2290 digital delay rack unit. During 1985, Johnny Marr started to use Korg SDD series digital delay racks on tour. Both of these units were also made famous by the Edge from U2.
