I’m playing a Tokai Love Rock, Les Paul copy. During 1985, Marr would often deploy his recently acquired (at the time) 80’s wine red Gibson Les Paul Standard for this song. The guitar was used for the collection of songs tuned to Open E – The Headmaster Ritual, Meat Is Murder and this one. There are however, some clips available online where you can see him using his custom built Roger Giffin green Tele-type.
