B-side of ‘What Difference Does It Make?’ released January 1984.
It was aired publicly for the first time in September ’83 during the band’s second appearance on John Peel’s BBC radio show.
The ‘electric’ album version was recorded October 1983 with producer John Porter.
I’ve transcribed based upon the way that Johnny Marr (& Andy Rourke) played this song live in 1984.
Live and in the studio Marr would tune his guitar up a whole tone for this song but (as usual) I’ve opted for a capo at the 2nd fret.

For the audio, it’s my Rickenbacker 330 into a DAW via the Amplitube 4 plugin, using Fender Twin & Fender Bassman amps. For pedals I’m using the built-in compressor & delay plus a Boss CE-1 simulation. These are the actual settings:
